Portland Dancesport’s Team is a group of advanced students that have a higher interest and committment to dance than the social dancer. Our team competes regularly and is entered by audition only. For students of an Intermediate Silver level or higher, the Portland Dancesport Team competes locally and statewide. The purpose of Portland Dancesport’s team is to offer the high level student a way to showcase his or her dancing and also challenge the student to increase his or her skill. The team is also used as an outreach into the community to promote social and competitive partner dancing.
