These are some types of performances we have at our Production Nights:
Staff:
Enjoy our instruction staff in fabulous group dance numbers. You’ll see everything from Latin dance formations to Country Western song and dance numbers. Our professional dancers deliver an exciting and fun show that is one of our students’ favorites.
Themes:
Production Nights often have themes as well. Join us for:
- 80’s night (with roller skating staff and 80′s performance numbers)
- Cabaret (burlesque acts, local dance artists, and advanced level students)
- Country Western (line dancing, sexy professional dance routines and lots of yee-haws are yours!)
- Salsa ( Latin shows by local pro couples and dance teams)
- Viennese Waltz Ball (a very special event taking place once a year; dress to the nines! Waltz the evening away in style.. Black or white tie only.)
Sugarbomb:
Every few months we are proud to present Sugarbomb for an entire production night’s show. These special shows are listed and promoted on our calendar and have separate entry fees (see calendar). Otherwise Sugarbomb makes special surprise appearances at production nights randomly to the glee of our attendees!
Local acts:
Our production nights also feature local acts from Portland. Featuring everything from burlesque groups to comedy acts to swing dancers, Portland Dancesport is proud to present these local talented artists. Please check our calendar for an opportunity to enjoy a class, dancing and a great show by Portland’s best.
